Bringing some joy to the drive-thru
When the new Starbucks was built, the Middleton, WI Arts Committee was dismayed to see the blacked-out, 12-ft high tower windows behind the drive-thru – and on the main road. They submitted a complaint with the city, and in response Starbucks called for local artists to design custom vinyl for the windows with the Committee judging.
My artwork was chosen from over 200 entries. Highlighting the city of Middleton from above, it brings some much-needed color and movement to the environment. It is expected to remain in place until 2027.
