GossRV delivers unforgettable experiences in luxury resorts on wheels.
For the previous five years GossRV's largest revenue stream, family tip rentals, had been declining at an average of 6% in revenue per year. However, the company saw an abrupt 346% increase in luxury motorcoach rental requests during 2020-21 as vacation-goers sought alternative means of travel during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
As site traffic increased, it became clear to the GossRV team that their website and brand presence were no longer representative of the company’s status, and worse: the disparate nature of outdated brand materials and their high-value offerings created a significant hurdle for sales.
Despite incredible interest, booking rates remained largely stagnant.
Moving forward with confidence
I expanded GossRV's brand system to include a variety of earth tones, tints, and shades, mimicking the spirit of the environment while remaining true to the brand's original jewel tones.
The website itself was constructed with a custom design system within a content management system to allow for easy site management without the need for a web design intermediary.
This modular design system was designed to accommodate not only current content, but future expansion. This easy-to-use approach will save the GossRV team time, money, and headaches as the company continues to grow.
Target-informed, data tested design
Where GossRV's previous site focused heavily on visuals of the coaches, user research and qualitative interviews proved that visuals of destinations fueled user decision-making. Every image was thoughtfully chosen to invoke feelings of freedom, excitement, and possibility.
In addition, a comprehensive review of the site's architecture and following user testing ensured an intuitively navigable site
In tandem with easy navigation and deliberately placed CTAs, the flood of soft inquiries for luxury rentals began to solidify into bookings.
Following the launch of the website, GossRV saw 26% growth in new business in the first year.
